Hurricane Season

Hurricane season is almost upon us and what did I do to get ready? I finished my sock and package for my Hurricane Sock Party partner. I'm not going to post a picture until she get's it. But I'm proud of myself for getting it done on time, considering I had to frog it once. I may take a little bit of a sock break and work on a quick garter stitch shawl.

I didn't get any knitting done this weekend.

Here's why:

A special thanks to Nikolai Volkoff and Larry Zbyzsko for being such good sports!

Wrestler Invades Knitting Group

My Sunday afternoon group, the Knit Wits was graced by the presence of none other than Nikolai Volkoff, Wrestling Superstar. He was doing me a favor and stopped in before I had to drop him off at the airport. He was a real trooper and very charming.

Tidal Wave

I spent the entire day knitting. I had planned on starting another pair of Tidal Wave socks, but I only managed to finally finish my second one from the current pair. This was my April project for SAM3 but ended up being my May project. I'm behind about two weeks on my knitting schedule. Once I get through this week, things should slow down for me again.

Not A Sock!

For the first time in several months I finally finished something that wasn't a sock. When I went to Minnesota in February I fell in love with a yarn called Noro Daria and found a cute pattern at the Three Kittens for a purse. I started the project right away while I was in Minnesota, but I it's taken me until this weekend to finally finish it. With out further interruptions, I present my purse which I will be donating to the charity auction for the agency that I work for. It will be put into a shop til you drop package.

Hot Wrestlers and Yarn OH MY!!!!!

It's been awhile since I shared some stash. I purchased some New Years Eve Seacoast sock yarn from my enabler Jackie. I plan on using it for the Harry Potter 7 Sock It or Swap It knit along. I will probably not be casting on this project for a couple of weeks, I'm still finishing up my Tidal Waves socks, then I have to do my Hurricane Sock swap sock and Carson's SCW Socks as well. I managed to get in some knitting and wrestling this weekend. The wrestlers in the picture are my buddies Hexx and Ryze from the Asian Superstar Organization.
