For the first time in my life, I feel like a mom. It's one thing to be a mom to fur babies, but quite another to be a human mom. For several months now my boyfriend's son has been living with us on the weekends. Today, he gave me a mother's day card. All I can say is..I feel blessed.
I finished my boyfriend's socks today and as soon as I can borrow a camera or take one with my cell phone I'll get them posted. Now it's back to my prayer shawl and some squares for the Sock Summit Charity Barn Raising Quilt. Here is the link for information if you want to contribute a square or make one for a charity project of your own.

I'm dying to go to the Sock Summit. This is the mecca for all sock knitters being held in Portland, Oregon in August. If my darn house sale goes through I've ear marked some money to go traveling and I really want to do a knitting related trip, so this would be perfect. Keeping my fingers crossed and praying, praying, praying.
